Calling all Parrot Heads! Get ready to wear your brightest tropical attire and deck out your boats with fun decorations - this year’s Boat Poker Run is celebrating a lively Jimmy Buffett theme! On Saturday, August 9th at 1 p.m., set sail and join the excitement for the 17th Annual Boat Poker Run.
The cost is $30 per person and includes event registration, a commemorative t-shirt, a delicious dinner, and access to the lively after-party.
There are two convenient registration opportunities to sign up:
Sunday, August 3rd from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Day of event, Saturday, August 9th, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
If you want to increase your chances of winning, extra cards can be purchased for $5 at the designated Extra Card stop along the route. Remember, all poker hands must be returned to the Club by 5 p.m. to be included in the official poker game.
Food and drinks will be served starting at 5 p.m., and you must wear the wristband provided at registration to gain entry to the after-party. For those who aren’t participating in the run but still want to join in the fun, after-party wristbands can be purchased for $10. The DJ will be spinning tunes from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. to keep the party going.
PLEASE NOTE: All captains are responsible for the safe and proper operation of their vessels throughout the event.
Awards will be announced at approximately 6 p.m., with judges’ decisions being final. Prize payouts are as follows:
$300 for the Best Overall Hand
$200 for 2nd Place
$100 for 3rd Place
$30 for the Worst Overall Hand
In the event of any ties, the pot will be equally split among the winners. Come enjoy a day full of fun, food, music, and friendly competition right here on the beautiful Susquehanna River!
